Writer's Block: Humans and Cylons

I myself have been pondering the possibility of this since I was little kid watching the mech in this icon get insulted on a weekly basis by the ever fey Dr. Smith. At the time, the though that a kid would have a mech as a BFF was a real cool concept, and wondered when it was my turn, but at the same time wondered why the robot didn't just pick Dr. Smith up and slam him up against the nearest bulkhead, giving the not-so-good-doctor the riot act about the insults and crap the mech was on the receiving end all the time.
[rant]Blame Fsckin' Asminov and those Laws of Robotics. I think Issac had delusions of deity at times, believing that it should be the norm. The Cylons, Megatron, and T-101 would like to have a few words about that load of pompous crap as well!
Everybody just assumed that every mech right off the assembly line would have those three laws hardwired somewhere. Tell me where they are in the specs![/rant]
Anyway, I would think such a time is when say, a mech like B9 actually would stand up for himself against Smith-type of person, is the moment it happens.
