New Addiction
Apr. 6th, 2009 01:19 amI don't know when it was added, but 43.2 for the longest time had boilerplate for a defunct programming called "Tube TV", which was supposed to a music vid subchannel.
That has been replaced with something else, and boy for the better.
Thar be a movie channel now, called "This"!
I found out via the TV Guide online listings while looking up something else, and decided to see if it was true. So far I'm impressed by what they are showing:
Last night (Sat): Corman's "Devil's Angels"
Getting ready for work: A French film w/subtitles and then "Came a Horseman" with Jane Fonda and James Caan.
Right now? Look in the music tag.
Looks like they are playing the more obscure and little known films and mixing in better known ones for the time being. If, ahem, this keeps up, I'll pretty much will have the converter box locked-in. It is a vast improvement, even with commercials, in the quality of over-the-air TV around here.
I don't know if this is the right website, but right now they have a "under construction" type of place holder page. Here.
