Progress! Work!... Whatever!

Today was the first day since March that Madre actually drove her car. She insisted on doing such all the way to a second hand children's clothing store (to get some things for my future niece,) and then to Walgreen's to pickup some, ahem, personal items. While there I myself got a personal groomer. I needed this due to the fact I got fed-up with looking like Captain Nosehair all the time.Whenever I look at myself in the mirror, I saw a forest of them Yes, I tried it out with very satisfactory results. Walgreen's also had a selection of colored T-Shirts for sale (5 for $10.00,) but could only find a white one with blue sleeves in my size. Otherwise I'd have bought one in every color. I used to have another shirt like the one I just got years ago, but with a Peavy logo on the back. It ended up in the rag bin or something. I ended up driving back to Balconyland since Madre was complaining of knee pain.
Work this last weekend was a bit hectic, as the Park's Home Days were in full-swing. With the store's AC out of commission and the tank monitor doing a very accurate "Dr. Pavlov's Conditioned Response Machine" every so often. Instead of inducing salivation, it would raise the annoyance level until somebody can get to the red "Shut the FSCK up already, ova dey!" button. All weekend; this ain't a weekend, Dick Cheney was probably taking notes for future torture methods!
Added to iTunes: Neil Diamond, Simon & Garfunkel, Kansas. I'm surprised I hadn't already added the Diamond-man and S&G to the library by now!
