Aug. 20th, 2010 12:39 pmIf one didn't know, yesterday I had another CAT done to see if there is anymore shrinkage of what tumors that still remain. The scan went as routine as it should, but later I suffered from a headache and three or four bouts of liquid TMI that put a damper on the rest of the day. I think it was the Barium and the contrasting agent I.V. working in concert with a warm day that did it.
What can be said outside of the cut is that I was scheduled for 2:45p, but forgot to go in an hour earlier. After drinking the berry flavored Barium shake quickly (not because it was tasty, it was, I was famished at the time.) I had to wait alone in the waiting room for the Barium to make its way through.
